In the pre-school your child will lay the foundations for a happy and successful school life by learning how to get on with other people and, at the same time, acquire the essential literacy and numeracy skills.
Our school has pioneered the use of “Jolly Phonics ”, the British multi-sensory method for learning to read and write.
After one year, a child’s reading ability can be more than 12 months ahead of their actual age. Their writing can be even further ahead.
Children with English as a second language can do just as well as those who have it as their first.
As with all the work in this phase of the school, the emphasis is on excellent teaching and enjoyable learning.
We encourage our children to experience the joys of singing, of cooking and of painting and to star in their own colourful plays.
We also encourage our children to develop their coordination and strength through sports and games.
